Sharon Ciaramitaro has been a board member since 2005. She is a VP at Fifth Third Bank. Sharon also serves on the Board of Zonta of Macomb. She is currently the Chair and Treasurer of the Board. She states, " Turning Point is this community's only resource for victims of domestic and sexual violence and is an invaluable resource to eliminating and preventing these crimes."

Patti Harrison joined the Board in 2010 and is a business owner in Clinton Township. She states, "Turning Point needs the support of the entire community in order to continue to offer hope to some of our most vulnerable neighbors."
Adrian J. Christie, M.D.

Biography:
Adrian Christie is the Director of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital. He has been supportive of Turning Point for a number of years, both through membership of Macomb County Medical Society of which he is a past president and through the medical staff of his hospital which has given annual donations to this most deserving of charities. He states “Turning Point makes a real difference to quality of life and helps those in greatest need in Macomb County.”
Martha Higgins, M.D.

Martha Higgins is the Director of Pathology at St. John Hospital & Medical Center. She has been a board member since 2005 and has served as the Vice Chair. Bill Knight is the Executive Director of Lakeshore Legal Aid, and is devoted to providing the most vulnerable members of our communities with access to our justice system. He states, "Turning Point provides the safety, support, and voice that survivors of domestic violence need to regain control of their lives and their independence."
Rick Kress

Rev. Rick Kress, ACFRE, is a non-profit consultant and president of Gift Planning Associates. Rick lives in Shelby Township. "As a survivor of domestic abuse and violence, I know how urgent Turning Point's work is. No neighborhood is immune to this crisis. We can all make a difference, each in our own ways."
Sachin Varma

Sachin Varma is the Associate Director of Underwriting for Health Alliance Plan. He started with Turning Point as a Finance Committee member in 2010 and joined the Board in 2011. He states, "Turning Point is committed to raising awareness and providing the resources necessary to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. I feel honored to serve on the Board of such a great organization."

Penny has been a volunteer at Turning Point for 10 years and has worked on several committees for Fund Development.
